Ergebnisse einer Serie von Laboratoriumsprüfungen des Instruments werden wiedergegeben und hinsichtlich der Eignung des Geräts für die erwähnten Feldmessungen diskutiert.
    Abstract: Résumé On décrit ici la construction d'un petit pyranomètre destiné à la mesure du rayonnement dans des champs de céréales. On indique les résultats de séries d'observations comparatives faites en laboratoire au moyen du dit instrument. On les discute enfin en tenant compte des possibilités d'utiliser ce pyranomètre pour des mesures dans les champs.
    Notes: Summary The design of a small pyranometer for measurements in field crops is described. Results of a series of laboratory tests with the instrument are given and discussed in relation to the use of the instrument in field crops.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Das vonBringman undRodskjer [3] entwickelte Pyranometer wurde mit einem hemisphärischen Glasfilter aus RG 8 versehen. Infolge der Absorption der kurzwelligen Strahlung durch das Filter wird die Empfindlichkeit des Pyranometers durch die Windböigkeit beeinflußt; auf die durchschnittliche Empfindlichkeit scheint sich jedoch die Veränderlichkeit der Windgeschwindigkeit nicht auszuwirken. Der Eichfaktor wird durch die Sonnenhöhe nur wenig beeinflußt. Die spektrale Empfindlichkeit des Pyranometers wurde ebenfalls untersucht. Die spektrale Änderung der Globalstrahlung in einem Pflanzenbestand kann die Empfindlichkeit des Pyranometers für Globalstrahlung innerhalb des Bestandes vom höchsten bis zum untersten Niveau um etwa 2 Prozent vermindern.
    Notes: Summary The pyranometer designed byBringman andRodskjer [3] was fitted with a dome of RG 8. As a consequence of the short-wave radiation absorbed in the dome the response was found to be affected by the gustiness of the wind, but the average response seems to be unaffected by wind fluctuations. The calibration factor shows little dependence on the solar elevation. The spectral response of the pyranometer was examined. Because of the spectral attenuation of the global radiation in a plant cover the sensitivity of the pyranometer to global radiation in a crop may decrease by about 2 per cent from the top to the bottom of the stand.

While the record is effectuated the receiver of the radiation is moved horizontally through the stand with constant speed. The equipment and the practical measuring are described.

Durant l'enregistrement, l'appareil situé entre les plantes se déplaçait de long d'une trajectoire horizontale et à une vitesse constante. On décrit ici l'appareillage et l'exécution des mesures.
    Notes: Zusammenfassung Mit zwei Pyranometern wird gleichzeitig und auf gleichem Papier die Globalstrahlung über und in einem Pflanzenbestand registriert. Im Laufe der Registrierung bewegt sich der Strahlungsempfänger im Bestand mit konstanter Geschwindigkeit entlang einer horizontalen Bahn. Die Apparatur und die Durchführung der Messung werden beschrieben.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Es wird gezeigt, daß der Strom eines Pyranometers durch Einbau eines Resistors von geeigneter Charakteristik in Serie mit dem Pyranometer temperaturunabhängig gemacht werden kann. Zu diesem Zweck ist der Temperaturkoeffizient des Pyranometers in bezug auf die elektromotorische Kraft dem Temperaturkoeffizienten des Widerstandes des Stromkreises gleich zu machen. Ein Resistor mit einer semilinearen Temperaturcharakteristik und einem negativen Temperaturkoeffizienten kann durch Verbindung eines resistors mit negativen Temperaturkoeffizienten (N. T. C.) parallel zu einem Resistor von konstantem Widerstand konstruiert werden. Es wird eine vollständige Berechnung für den Fall der Kombination eines Solarimeters Moll-Gorczynski mit einem Potentiometer durchgeführt. Dabei ergibt sich, daß der Temperatureinfluß auf die Strahlungsmessung nahezu eliminiert werden kann.
    Abstract: Résumé L'auteur démontre que le courant issu d'une pyranomètre peut être rendu indépendant des influences de la température en introduisant dans le circuit une thermistance appropriée placée en série. Le coefficient thermique du pyranomètre—compte tenu de la force électromotrice—doit être égal au coefficient thermique de la résistance du circuit. On peut construire une thermistance avec une caractéristique semi-linéaire de température et un coefficient thermique négatif en connectant en parallèle une résistance N. T. C. (Negative Temperature Coefficient) et une résistance constante. L'auteur présente un calcul complet pour le cas où le pyranomètre est un solarimètre Moll-Gorczynski et l'instrument de mesure un potentiomètre. Il en résulte que l'influence de la tempŕature sur la mesure du rayonnement peut presque être éliminée.
    Notes: Summary It is shown that the current of a pyranometer can be made independent of temperature by connecting a resistor of appropriate characteristics in series with the pyranometer. The temperature coefficient of the pyranometer with respect to the electromotive force should be made equal to the temperature coefficient of the resistance of the circuit. A resistor with a semilinear temperature characteristic and a negative temperature coefficient can be constructed by connecting a N.T.C. (Negative Temperature Coefficient) resistor in parallel with a resistor of constant resistance. A complete calculation is carried out for a case where the pyranometer is a Moll-Gorczynski solarimeter and the instrument indicating the current is a potentiometer. It turns out that the temperature influence on the radiation measurement can be almost eliminated.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Die Einwirkung der Strahlung wird durch Verwendung von zwei Körpern mit verschiedenen optischen Eigenschaften in Kombination mit gegengeschalteten Thermoelementen vermindert. Das Verhältnis der Absorptionsvermögen dieser Körper (zwei Rohre) für kurzwellige und langwellige Strahlung ist gleich groß eingestellt. Das eine Rohr ist grau gestrichen und das andere Rohr poliert und mit weißen Streifen versehen. Es wird gezeigt, daß der durch die Strahlung verursachte Fehler nicht unter allen Verhältnissen eliminiert werden kann. Weiter wird gezeigt, daß der Meßwert von der Relation zwischen Wind und Temperatur beeinflußt ist. Die Kalibrierung des Thermometers zeigt gute Übereinstimmung. Die Verwendung des Thermometers hat ergeben, daß dieses Gerät für Feldmessungen gut geeignet ist.
    Notes: Summary The influence of radiation is reduced by using two bodies of different optical properties in combination with thermoelements in opposition. The quotient of the absorptance of the bodies, two tubes, is made equal for both short-wave and long-wave radiation. One tube is painted grey and the other is polished and striped white. It is shown that the error caused by radiation cannot be eliminated under all conditions. Influence of correlation between temperature and wind is demonstrated. The calibration of the device is described. Comparisons with other sensors show good agreement. In field use the device has proved to be reliable and easy to handle.
