New Polyanions in Zintl Phases. On Ca3Si2As4, Ca3Ge2As4, Sr3Si2As4, and Sr3Ge2As4The new compounds Ca3Si2As4, Ca3Ge2As4, Sr3Si2As4 and Sr3Ge2As4 crystallize in the monoclinic system with lattice constants see “Inhaltsübersicht”. There are two new structure types. Both contain Si2As6 or Ge2As6 groups connected to chains in different ways. These chains are ordered parallel to each other to sheets with the alkaline-earth atoms between them.

Die neuen Verbindungen Ca3Si2As4, Ca3Ge2As4, Sr3Si2As4 und Sr3Ge2As4 kristallisieren monoklin mit folgenden Gitterkonstanten:Ca3Si2As4: P21/c, a = 730,3(6) pm, b = 1 773,0(7) pm, c = 715,5(6) pm, β = 111,66(8)°Ca3Ge2As4: P21/c, a = 730,8(6) pm, b = 1 788,6(7) pm, c = 723,9(6) pm, β = 111,75(8)°Sr3Ge2As4: P21/c, a = 762,5(6) pm, b = 1 851,4(7) pm, c = 747,0(6) pm, β = 111,76(8)°Sr3Si2As4: C21/c, a = 920,5(4) pm, b = 1 683,2(5) pm, c = 737,6(4) pm, β = 122,46(3)°Es werden zwei neue Strukturtypen ausgebildet, in denen Si2As6- bzw Ge2As6-Gruppen vorliegen, die in unterschiedlicher Weise zu Ketten verknüpft sind. Diese Ketten sind einander parallel zu Schichten angeordnet, zwischen denen die Erdalkaliatome lokalisiert sind.
