Description / Table of Contents: Abstract На никельхромитном катализаторе общая схема восстановления NO в N2 зависит от природы восстановителя восстановление NO молекулярным водородом протекает, преимущественно, через стадию образования N2O, восстановление NO оксидом углерода, преимущественно, путем непосредственного превращения NO в N2, т. э. минуя стадию образования промежуточного соединения N2O.
Notes: Abstract The route of NO reduction to N2 over nickel chromite catalyst is dependent on the nature of the reducing agent. NO reduction by dihydrogen proceeds mainly through the step of N2O formation, whereas NO reduction to N2 by carbon monoxide is mainly direct without a step of N2O formation.

Description: Four wire Wye connected ac power systems exhibit peculiar steady state fault characteristics when the fourth wire of three phase induction motors is connected. The loss of one phase of power source due to a series or shunt fault results in currents higher than anticipated on the remaining two phases. A theoretical approach to compute the fault currents and voltages is developed. A FORTRAN program is included in the appendix.

Description: An investigation into the characteristics of three phase, 400 Hz, induction motors of the general type used on aircraft and spacecraft is summarized. Results of laboratory tests are presented and compared with results from a computer program. Representative motors were both tested and simulated under nominal conditions as well as off nominal conditions of temperature, frequency, voltage magnitude, and voltage balance. Good correlation was achieved between simulated and laboratory results. The primary purpose of the program was to verify the simulation accuracy of the computer program, which in turn will be used as an analytical tool to support the shuttle orbiter.
