Description:
Article The ryanodine receptor (RyR) is a large multi-domain ion channel that functions to release calcium from the endoplasmic or sarcoplasmic reticulum. Here the authors present crystal structures of the SPRY1 and tandem repeat domains of RyR, allowing precise positioning of the domains and linking disease mutations to RyR function.
