    Description: The described experimental study, performed over the years, includes the quantitative and qualitative monitoring of the presence of microorganisms of air in outdoor and indoor environments of the Albanian Capital, Tirana, during a time when large demographic movements, accompanied by important urban interventions and infrastructural changes, have been part of our lives. A project, part of the National Program in Biotechnology (R & D—the year 2000), was the first support to obtain a database on microbiological air pollution in selected urban areas in Tirana and isolate and identify specific air microbial pollutants. The results obtained were an incentive to continue further with additional scientific evaluation monitoring research, which included the years 2011 to 2015 and then those of 2016–2020. Over the years, there has been a significant reduction in pollutant microbial loads (for selected outdoor areas of the center of Tirana, the total discovered loads decreased from values of the order 105–106, to currently about 102, for the same areas). A fluctuation in indoor microbial loads was observed in many cases. Additionally, a prominent presence of typical environmental fungi pollutants such as Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus terreus, as well as bacterial pollutants, cocci, and bacilli (typical Bacillus megatherium) was identified during a Total Viable Count (TVC) and other microbiological tests of identification.

    Notes: Abstract On the basis of a sound evaluation of literature's data, the Co/Ni ratio in pyrite proves a more reliable indicator in ore genesis than previously retained. This is particularly true for volcanogenic pyritic ores which are constantly characterized by Co/Ni values (〉5 but more often 〉10) definitely higher than those attained by sedimentary or hydrothermal pyrites. Moreover, once stated that an appropriate sampling has been performed, such geochemical studies, extended to as many deposits as possible from a same area, may provide relevant insights into the metallogenic history of the given area. On the basis of their Co/Ni ratios the Southern Tuscany ores fit in a two-stage metallogenic model: a primary (Paleozoic) emplacement of volcanogenic massive-sulfide deposits, in a sub-marine volcanic-exhalative environment, followed by later (Mio-Pliocenic) deposition of smaller, prevalently replacement deposits through hydrothermal partial mobilization of the older ones. The research of new ores may benefit from these geochemical studies too.

    Description / Table of Contents: Riassunto Si presenta un nuovo metodo di analisi numerica che, utilizzando la relazione di dispersione per Δ(ω), energy gap function, proposta da Galkin, D'yachenko and Svistunov, permette di determinare da dati sperimentali ottenuti su giunzioni tunnel superconduttive la funzione interazione elettrone-fononeα 2(ω)F(α) per l'elettrodo superconduttore. Il metodo stesso è discusso e si evidenziano le ipotesi che permettono la soluzione numerica dell'equazione integrale di prima specie derivata dalle equazioni di Eliashberg. Le Δ(ω) edα 2(ω)F(α) ottenute applicando tale metodo ai dati relativi ad una giunzione Al−Al2O3−Pb (elettrodo superconduttore) sono presentate e discusse con particolare riferimento alla stabilità e convergenza del metodo.
    Abstract: Резюме Предлагается новый метод численного анализа, который позволяет определить функцию электрон-фононного взаимодействияα 2(ω)F(α), используя экспериментальные данные, полученные для сверхпроводяшего туннельного перехода. Этот метод использует дисперсионное соотнощение длл Д(щ), предложенное Галкиным, Яшенко и Свистуновым. Обсуждается предложенный метод и подтверждаются гипотезы, которые розволяют численно рещить интегральное уравнение первого рода, выведенное из уравнений Элиащберга. Испрльзуя этот метод для туннельных данных в Al−Al2O3−Pb переходе, получаются Δ(ω) иα 2(ω)F(α). Полученные результаты обсуждаются с точки зрения устойчивости и сходимости предложенного метода.
    Notes: Summary A new method of numerical analysis is presented which allows the determination of the electron-phonon interaction functionα 2(ω)F(α) using the experimental data obtained from a superconducting tunnel junction. This method utilizes the dispersion relation for Δ(ω) (complex energy gap function) proposed by Galkin, D'yachenko and Svistunov. The method and the hypotheses which allow the numerical solution of the first-kind integral equation derived from the Eliashberg equations are shown and discussed. Δ(ω) andα 2(ω)F(α) of Pb are obtained by applying this method to the tunnel data of an Al−Al2O3-Pb (superconducting electrode) junction. The results are discussed with particular reference to the stability and convergence of the method applied.

    Description / Table of Contents: Riassunto Le caratteristiche tunnel (J vs. V) di strutture Al−Al2O3−InSb (n type) con eletrodo semiconduttore sottile (100÷400) Å sono presentate. Esse sono analizzate utilizzando il modello proposto da Chang, Esaki e Styles; i dati ottenuti da un adattamento ottimale non lineare sui punti sperimentali descrivono la struttura MOS e la regione a resistenza negativa esibita dalle caratteristiche. Inoltre si osserva che il gap del semiconduttore varia con lo spessore; tale variazione è interpretata mediante la presenza di effetti quantistici di dimensione nei films più sottili.
    Abstract: Резюме Приводятся туннельные характеристики (J в зависимости отV) для Al−Al2O3−InSb (n-типа) структур с тонким (100÷400) Å сверхпроводящим злектродом. Эти нарактеристики анализируются с помощью модели, предложенной Ченгом, Есаки и Стайлсом. Данные, полученные путем нелинейной подгонки, описывают MOS структуры и область отрицательного сопротивления, обнаруженного в характеристиках. Кроме того, щель в свернпроводнике обнаруживает зависимость от толщины. Изменение щели объясняется наличием квантовых эффектов, связанных с размерами образцов, в тончайших пленках.
    Notes: Summary The tunnel characteristics (J vs. V) of Al−Al2O3−InSb (n type) structures with thin (100÷400)Å semiconducting electrode are presented. They are analysed by utilizing the model proposed by Chang, Esaki and Styles. The data obtained by a nonlinear best fit on experimental points describe the MOS structure and the negative-resistance region exibited by the characteristics. Furthermore, the semiconductor gap shows a dependence on the thickness and this variation is explainable with the quantum effects presence in the thinnest films.

    Description / Table of Contents: Riassunto È stato rilevato l’andamento della temperatura di transizione resistiva superconduttiva di films granulati di Pb in funzione della dimensione dei grani, sia per films cresciuti direttamente su vetro che interfacciati con Formvar. I dati sperimentali sono stati analizzati nell’ambito della teoria di Garland come estesa da Watton. Sono stati evidenziati nei films interfacciati con Formvar un aumento dell’energia media di accoppiamento (ω) ed una diminuzione del parametro di accoppiamento (λ). Tali risultati sono stati correlati con le modifiche allo spettro vibrazionale osservate con techniche tunnelling in giunzioni A1/Formvar/Pb.
    Abstract: Резюме В гранулированных пленках Pb исследуется поведение температуры сверхпроводящего перехода в зависимости от размера зерен для пленок, выращенных непосредственно на стекле, и для пленок, граничащих с Формваром. Экспериментальные данные анализируются в рамках теории Гарланда, обобщенной Ваттоном. Для пленок, граничащих с Формваром, обнаружено увеличение средней энергии связи (ω) и уменьшение параметра связи (λ). Эти результаты коррелируют с видоизменениями вибрационного спектра, наблюденного посредством туннелирования в переходах А1/Формвар/Pb.
    Notes: Summary The behaviour of the superconducting resistive transition temperature was studied in Pb granulated filmsvs. the grain size both for films grown directly on glass and for those interfaced with Formvar. The experimental data were analysed with reference to the Garland theory as extended by Watton. An increase of the average coupling energy (ω) and a decrease of the coupling parameter (λ) were revealed in the films interfaced with Formvar. These results were correlated to the modifications of the vibrational spectrum observed, by tunnelling, in A1/Formvar/Pb junctions.

    Notes: Summary The morphological structure of SnTe very thin films is here studied by X-ray photoemission spectroscopy, by transmission electron spectroscopy and by X-ray diffraction. The analisys of experimental data evidences the superficial confinement of Sn, with different oxidation states, and the Te excess in the inner layers. The energy shift of the valence band peaks is attributed to modifications induced by the nonstoichiometry of the compound. Preliminary Hall and resistivity measurements seem to confirm the structural obtained results.

    Notes: Summary We report here about measurements of resistancevs. temperature, alternating current (a.c.) susceptibility and X-ray diffraction performed on Ba2Sr2Ca2Cu3O x superconductor doped with various amounts of Pb. The results could be explained in terms of Pb contribution in increasing both the amount of the highestT C 0 phase and connectivity between superconductive regions.     Notes: Summary Procedures for synthesizing high-T c YBa2Cu3O7−x superconductors, alternative to the standard ones, are here studied by four-contact resistance measurementsvs. temperature and by X-ray diffraction. While X-ray spectra are consistent with the known ones, small changes in the transition temperatureT c and in shape of the resistancevs. temperature curve in the transition zone are observed. These changes could be explained in terms of volume fraction occupied by superconductive grains rather than as due to the different adopted procedures of preparation.
