This work presents a mathematical model describing the cavitation erosion of materials.The model of cavitation erosion is based on Weibull’s distribution. The model describes theinfluence of material properties and also dimensions of the eroded area and volume of the erodedmaterial on cavitation erosion curves i.e. cumulative volume loss and volume loss rate as a functionof time of cavitation loading. In addition, there is a possibility to define cavitation resistance ofmaterials, upon the base of the adduced model
