    Description / Table of Contents: Tetrakis(trimethylsiloxy)phosphonium Salts and Related CompoundsAddition reactions of trimethylhalosilanes (CH3)3SiX with tris(trimethylsilyl) phosphate lead to the formation of stable tetrakis(trimethylsiloxy)phosphonium iodide (3) in the case of X = J. With X = Br the analogous product can be obtained only at lower temperatures. The reaction equilibria (eq. (1)) have been followed by conductivity and n.m.r. measurements. A second route yielding 3 quantitatively has been found in the reaction of trimethyl phosphate with the tetramolar amount of trimethyliodosilare (eq. (2)). - Treatment of the trimethylsilyl esters of methylphosphonic and dimethylphosphinic acid with trimethyliodosilane yielded the corresponding adducts.
    Notes: Die Addition von Trimethylhalogensilanen (CH3)3SiX an Tris(trimethylsilyl)phosphat führt für X = J zu einem stabilen Tetrakis(trimethylsiloxy)phosphonium-jodid (3). Mit X = Br ist das analoge Produkt nur bei tieferen Temperaturen faßbar. Die zugehörigen Gleichgewichte nach Gl. (1) wurden durch Leitfähigkeits- und NMR- Messungen verfolgt. 3 entsteht ebenfalls quantitativ bei der Umsetzung von Trimethylphosphat mit der viermolaren Menge Trimethyljodsilan (Gl. (2)). - Aus den Trimethylsilylestern der Methylphosphon- und der Dimethylphosphinsäure wurden mit Trimethyljodsilan die entsprechenden Addukte erhalten.
