Description: The white leg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) was introduced to Iran in 2005 by Iranian Fisheries Research Organization. In this study which was carried out at the Iran Shrimp Research Center in Bushehr, shrimp growth in three density treatments 50, 100 and 150 PCs/m super(3) with three replications were compared. The experiment was conducted for 50 days in fiberglass tanks (three ton capacity). Daily tests of salinity, pH ,temperature and dissolved oxygen were also carried out. We found that the mean salinity, pH, temperature and dissolved oxygen were 30.2 ppt, 7.9, 25.5 degrees centigrade and 6.2mg/l respectiely. We recorded a mean weight of 2.96, 2.17 and 1.87 grams for shrimps in 50, 100 and 150 PCs/m super(3) respectively.

Description: In the present Shrimp industry Has become a huge industry . The shrimp culture in Bushehr province began with Penaeus semisulcatus and Fenneropenaeus indicus and with introducing Litopenaeus vannamei in Iran Was known as a culture species. The shrimp production rate in IRAN is about 23000 metric ton. Outbreak of Various diseases and Biosecurity are most important things to produce Specific Patogen Free(SPF) shrimp. In this regard, production of SPF shrimp is The main requirements of shrimp industry. The survey on growth and srvival larve of different generation of Litopenaeus vannamei project was carried out in 2013 and 2014.Broodstock selecting ,propagation, culture and shrimp generation Was performed in 2012 until 2014.In 2014 we produced 4300 pieces of prebroodstock with 22.38 gram and 86 percent survival rate after 120 days of culture.

Description: Anesthesia is considered to be the best way to ensure animal welfare during handling etc. Clove oil and electronarcosis are among the most popular chemical and physical anesthetics used in fisheries and biology;however there is a little information available on the effect of anesthesia using direct electric current in fish. In the present study, the impacts of clove oil (30 mg.l-1) and electro-anesthesia (constant direct current, 0.5 v.cm-1) (DC) were assessed in common carp, Cyprinus carpio during narcotic stage in two experimental sets. Experiment 1 was conducted to quantitatively compare induction of anesthesia and recovery time. The biochemical and hematological effects of anesthetics were analyzed as experiment 2. The results revealed that induction and recovery times in fish anesthetized with electric current were significantly lower than clove oil treatment.Significant differences were observed in cortisol concentrations, red blood cells and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration between anesthetic methods. Our results suggest that constant direct current electronarcosis was more quickly than clove oil and associated with lower side effects in common carp.
