Description / Table of Contents:
Notes:
Abstract Oestrogens have been reacted with azobenzene-4-sulphonic acid chloride (ABS-chloride) or 1-1-dimethylaminonaphthyl-5-sulphonyl chloride (DANSYL-chloride) in alkaline aqueous acetonic solution and the derivatives obtained (yield about 95%) have been separated by thin-layer chromatography on silica gel. Quantitative measurement has been performed by densitometry or fluorimetry.
