Sommaire On discute le fonctionnement local (distribué) d'un dialyseur Kiil, avec le but de montrer l'interdépendance entre les deux courants de liquide et ainsi l'importance du modelage du système comme un système interpénétré à courants multiples. On présente une caractérisation du rendement du dialyseur en termes d'inertie globale et un facteur d'efficacité. L'approche du facteur d'efficacité donne des informations sur les mécanismes internes et par conséquent est un meilleur moyen, et de la caractérisation du dialyseur de Kiil et de sa comparaison avec le rendement de divers appareils.
Abstract:
Zusammenfassung Es wird das örtliche, (verteilte), Verhalten von einem Kiil Dialysator zu dem Zweck besprochen, die Wechselbeziehung zwischen den zwei Flüssigkeitsströmen zu zeigen und somit die Wichtigkeit, das System als ein, in gegenseitiger Beziehung stehendes Mehrstromsystem zu formen. Eine Charakterisierung der Dialysatorleistung wird sowohl in Form eines mittleren log-Gesamtwiderstandes und eines Wirksamkeitfaktors dargestellt. Die Annäherung durch den Wirksamkeitsfaktor ergibt Information über den inneren Mechanismus und ist daher ein besseres Mittel, sowohl Kiil zu charakterisieren und die Leistung verschiedener Dialysatoren zu vergleichen.

Abstract The local (distributed) behavior of a Kiil dialyser is discussed with the aim of showing the interrelation between the two fluid streams and thus the importance of modeling the system as an interrelated multistream system. A characterization of the dialyser's performance is presented in terms of both an overall log-mean resistance and an effectiveness factor. The effectiveness factor approach gives information on the internal mechanisms and therefore is a better means of both characterizing of Kiil and comparing the performance of different dialysers.
