Notes: Summary The properties of transporters (or channels) for monovalent cations in the membrane of isolated pancreatic zymogen granules were characterized with an assay measuring bulk cation influx driven by a proton diffusion potential. The proton diffusion potential was generated by suspending granules in an isotonic monovalent cation/acetate solution and increasing the proton conductance of the membrane with a protonophore. Monovalent cation conductance had the sequence Rb+ 〉 K+ 〉 Na+ 〉 Cs+ 〉 Li+ 〉 N-methyl glucamine+. The conductance could be inhibited by Ca2+, Mg2+, Ba2+, and pharmacological agents such as quinine, quinidine, glyburide and tolbutamide, but not by 5 mm tetra-ethyl ammonium or 5mm 4-aminopyridine, when applied to the cytosolic surface of the granule membrane. Over 50% of K+ conductance could be inhibited by millimolar concentrations of ATP or MgATP. The inhibition by MgATP, but not by ATP itself, was reversed by the K+ channel opener diazoxide. The inhibitory effect is probably by a noncovalent interaction since it could be mimicked by nonhydrolyzable analogs of ATP and by ADP. The reversal of MgATP inhibition by diazoxide may be mediated by phosphorylation since it was not affected by dilution, and was blocked by the protein kinase inhibitor H7. The properties of the K+ conductance of pancreatic zymogen granule membranes are similar to those of ATP-sensitive K+ channels found in the plasma membrane of insulin-secreting islet cells, neurons, muscle, and renal cells.

Notes: This study investigated the model and simulation of dynamic cutting forces for highspeed end mills, performed frequency spectrum analysis of dynamic cutting forces, and propoundedthe model and failure criterion of high speed end mills with indexable inserts. According to resultsof modal analysis and stress field analysis, the safety prediction and experiment of high speed endmills for machining aluminum alloy were done. Results indicate that more teeth of cutter andgreater cutting contact angle make the energy more dispersible, higher cutting speed and greaterrake of cutter can depress dynamic cutting forces. The rigidity failure rotational speed is higher thestrength failure rotational speed, the connection strength between cutter body and screw bolt affectsdirectly the safety of cutter. The model of high speed end mills based on spectrum simulation fordynamic cutting forces, and the safety prediction based on finite element analysis should be appliedto the development of high speed end mills as an effective means

Notes: Polishing is usually the last working procedure of making die surface. The roughness of diesurface affects using performance of die directly; therefore, surface roughness is a key factor to scalequality of die surface. The paper focuses on affecting factors of polishing surface roughness, including the rotation speed of polishing head, floating force on polishing head, pass of polishinghead movement, feeding rate of polishing head, and size of abrasive particles. Then, establish theparameters database in order to select appropriate technological parameters expediently. These resultsare used as operating guides for applications of die polisher

Notes: Conventional production process of magnesium alloy strips involves many steps, including multi-hot rolling and multi-heat treatment, which is time-consuming and needs high energycost. By use of thin strip casting, magnesium alloy cast strip with a thickness of less than 8mm can beproduced and then rolled to the strip of the needed thickness, which is a short, energy saving and higheffective process. In this paper, development of magnesium alloy strips prepared by single and twinroll casting has been summarized. Existing problems have been discussed and its developmenttrends pointed out. Magnesium alloy strips prepared by single roll casting are suitable forMg-based functional materials but not for structural materials because of low quality or high cost.Horizontal twin roll casting of magnesium alloy, based on aluminium alloy thin strip casting, hasbeen industrialized in Australia and is close to industrialization in China. Vertical twin roll casting ofmagnesium alloy, based on steel thin strip casting, can reach a speed of more than 30m/min andhigher productivity, but the process stability is lower and its research and development is justbeginning. Horizontal twin roll casting should be developed for the thicker cast strip, more than 4mmthick, while vertical twin roll casting for the thinner, less than 4mm

Notes: The simulation rolling and actual rolling of AZ31 strip with a thickness of 3mm preparedby a vertical twin roll caster (Ø250×150mm) have been made by both Gleeble-1500D thermalsimulation testing machine and Ø170×300mm rolling-mill. The influence of various rollingparameters such as temperature (250℃, 300℃, 350℃ and 400℃) and reduction (40%, 50% and60%) on the microstructure of the rolled AZ31B thin strip have been investigated by means ofmetallographic observation and grain size measurment. The results indicate that when thetemperature increases, the grain size of the rolled strip increases and the uniformity decreases. Whenthe reduction is 50% the grain size is 10~30μm and the grains are fine and uniform. When thereduction is 40% or 60%, the grain size is 5~180μm and the grains are coarse in some areas. Anoptimized rolling process, 350℃×50% is suggested for actual rolling and a uniform microstructure ofrolled AZ31 strip is obtained

Notes: According to the characteristics of high speed face milling process, the models of thestress field for high speed face milling cutter with two sorts of structure are proposed andestablished. By means of the finite element analysis of the stress field for high speed face millingcutters, the law of influence of the cutter’s structure, the cutter’s subassemblies and the fixing rakeof inserts on the stress field of cutter is acquired under the action of high rotate speed. In thisfoundation, the model reconstruction and the stress field analysis of the cutter are completed, andthe model of evaluation for dynamic cutting performance of high speed face milling cutter isestablished. The results of high speed face milling experiment and frequency spectrum analysis ofdynamic cutting force of the cutter indicate that high speed face milling cutter with the fixing rakeof zero degree and less subassemblies takes on better dynamic high speed cutting performance

Notes: The strip casting of AZ31 were carried out by a Ø250×150mm of vertical twin roll casterat different casting speeds (9-15m/min) and in different casting temperatures (630-660℃). Thesolidification microstructure of the strips was examined. The experiment results showed that thecrystal grain size of the casting was smaller than that of conventional ingot, and decreases while thecasting speed is raised, or the casting temperature decrease. The casting temperature strongly affectedthe dendrite structure that changed into sphere-like when the casting temperature was lower. Theappropriate casting temperature for AZ31 magnesium alloy is 640℃, nearby its liquidus temperature

Notes: According to the principle producing the cutting track of cutter, to study the influence ofthe cutting track of cutter on the process of high speed ball-end milling, the single-factor models forevaluating the cutting track of cutter are established. Adopting four kinds of the typical cutting trackof cutter, the experiment of high speed ball-end milling is processed. The model of multi-ply fuzzycomprehensive evaluation for the cutting track of cutter is established, fuzzy comprehensiveevaluation for the cutting track of high speed ball-end milling cutter is accomplished by theapplication of fuzzy mathematics theory. Results show that the cutting contact curve of cutteraffects directly the process of high speed ball-end milling, fuzzy and uncertain properties exist inthe evaluation for the cutting track of cutter. The optimum cutting track can be selected by multi-plyfuzzy comprehensive evaluation for the cutting track of high speed ball-end milling cutter

Notes: Prior to the economic reform movement, China's centrally planned, three-tier system dominated the distribution sector. After the 1980s, this system gradually shifted away from the socialist mode to the free market mode. Today, China's distribution system lies somewhere between these two modes. Since the reform, China's government has been encouraging export-oriented foreign firms' investments in free trade zones along the coast. Foreign firms do not enjoy the same inland distribution and logistics rights as their Chinese counterparts. However, the distribution puzzle is not only faced by foreign firms, but also by Chinese firms that operate nationwide. China's undeveloped infrastructure, government regulations, and regional protectionism fragment distribution channels throughout China. However, there are three main forces that are changing and modernizing China's distribution and logistics system. These are the booming economy, entering the WTO and e-commerce. The inevitable revolution of China's distribution and logistics system is on the way.
