Description:
Author(s): J. Reutlinger, L. Glazman, Yu. V. Nazarov, and W. Belzig The authors generalize previous calculations, to show that a predicted gap feature in the density of states of a chaotic cavity between superconductors remains under a broad range of contact types. In particular, they reveal that the gap feature is not restricted to a ballistic cavity, but is a more general property of these systems, which should facilitate experimental detection. [Phys. Rev.
