O-Glycosyl Imidates, 19. - Reactions of Glycosyl Trichloroacetimidates with Silylated C-NucleophilesReaction of O-benzyl-protected α-glycopyranosyl trichloroacetimidates 1 and the xylo analogues 7 with silyl enol ethers or allyltrimethylsilane as C-nucleophiles yields with zink chloride as catalyst mainly or exclusively α-C-glycosides (5a-α to 5h-α, 8b,c-α, 16-α, 18-α). For the reactions with trimethylsilyl cyanide to form α-C-glycosyl cyanides (10-α, 14-α, 15-α), trimethylsilyl trifluoromethanesulfonate was used as catalyst. Silyl enol ethers reacted with the 2-O-acetyl group of the O-acetylated α-glycosyl trichloroacetimidate 2 under formation of 1,3-dicarbonyl derivatives (9a,b). - Reaction of the α-glucopyranosylmethyl phenyl ketone 5a-α with Bredereck reagent and subsequently with hydrazine, acetamidine, or guanidine gives via intermediate anomerisation preferentially β-C-nucleosides (21-β, 24-β, 25-β). However, α-homo-C-nucleosides (26-α, 30-α to 32-α, 35-α, 38-α) are obtained from the corresponding reactions with α-glycopyranosylmethyl alkyl ketones 5c,d,e-α and 8c-α. For structural analysis these compounds were deprotected and acetylated.
Notes:
