    Description / Table of Contents: Dialkylaminostibanes. Preparation and SpectraThe dialkylaminodichlorostibanes Cl2SbNMe2 (1), Cl2SbNMeEt (2), and Cl2SbNEt2 (3) as well as the bis(dialkylamino) chlorostibanes ClSb[NMe2]2 (4), ClSb[NMeEt]2 (5), and ClSb[NEt2]2 (6) were prepared by exchange reactions between SbCl3 and Sb[NRR′]3 (R = R′ = Me (7); R = R′ = Et (8); R = Me, R′ = Et (9). By reaction of 1 and 2 with MeOH and EtOH the dialkylaminoalkoxochlorostibanes ClSbOMe[NMe2] (10), ClSbOEt[NMe2] (11), and ClSbOEt[NMeEt] (12) can be prepared. The vibrational spectra of 1-12 were assigned and discussed. 1-4 and 10-12 were associated in the solid state by SbN-bridges to dimeres. An analog association is sterically hinderd for 5-9.
    Notes: Durch Austauschreaktionen werden aus Antimon(III)-chlorid und den Trisdialkylaminostibanen Sb[NMe2]3 (7), Sb[NEt2]3 (8) und Sb[NMeEt]3 (9) die bisher unbekannten Dialkylaminochlorostibane Cl2SbNMe2 (1), Cl2SbNMeEt (2) und Cl2SbNEt2 (3) sowie die Bis(dialkylamino) chlorostibane ClSb[NMe2]2 (4), ClSb[NMeEt]2 (5) und ClSb[NEt2]2 (6) dargestellt. 1 und 2 ergeben mit MeOH bzw. EtOH die Dialkylaminoalkoxochlorostibane ClSbOMe[NMe2] (10), ClSbOEt[NMe2] (11) und ClSbOEt[NMeEt] (12). Die Schwingungsspektren von 1-12 werden zugeordnet und diskutiert. Danach sind 1-4 und 10-12 über SbN-Brückenbindungen im Feststoff zu Dimeren assoziiert. 5-9 sind monomer, Brückenbindungen sind aus sterischen Gründen nicht möglich.

    Description / Table of Contents: Mass Spectra of AlkoxistibanesThe mass spectra of the methoxistibanes Sb(OMe)3 (1), ClSb(OMe)2 (2) and Cl2SbOMe (3) and of d9-triethoxistibane (4) are measured at 20 and 70 eV. The fragmentation processes as well as the fragmentation mechanisms which explaines the formation of Sb—H fragments are discussed.
    Notes: Die Massenspektren der Methoxistibane Sb(OMe)3 (1), ClSb(OMe)2 (2) und Cl2SbOMe (3) sowie des d9-Triethoxistibans (4) wurden bei 20 und 70 eV aufgenommen. Die Zerfallswege und vor allem der Zerfallsmechanismus, der zur Bildung von SbH-Fragmenten führt, werden diskutiert.

Structure and Vibrational SpectraThe crystal and molecular structure of Sb(OMe)3 (1) was determined by X-ray analysis. 1 forms layers in which the Sb atoms are coordinated by 6 O atoms. The halogenomethoxostibanes SbCl(OMe)2 (2), SbCl2(OMe) (3), SbBr(OMe)2 (4), SbBr2(OMe) (5), and SbI(OMe)2 (6), which were partially prepared for the first time, as well as 1 were examinated by vibrational spectroscopy. The spectra were discussed in view of the structure in the solid state. 2, 4, and 6 posses a structure similar to that of 1 with Sb2O2 and Sb2Cl2 ring systems. The coordination number of Sb is 6. In 3 and 5 there are also Sb2O2 and Sb2Hal2 rings, but the structures are probably different from those of 2 and 4.
    Notes: Die Kristall- und Molekülstruktur von Sb(OMe)3 (1) wurde mittels Röntgenstrukturanalyse bestimmt. 1 bildet ein Schichtengitter, bei dem die Sb-Atome durch O-Atome 6fach koordiniert sind. Die z. T. erstmals dargestellten Halogenomethoxostibane SbCl(OMe)2 (2), SbCl2(OMe) (3), SbBr(OMe)2 (4), SbBr2(OMe) (5) und SbI(OMe)2 (6) sowie 1 wurden schwingungsspektroskopisch untersucht. Die Spektren wurden im Hinblick auf die Struktur im festen Zustand diskutiert. Danach zeigen 2, 4 und 6 eine zu 1 vergleichbare Struktur mit Sb2O2- und Sb2Hal2-Vierringen und Sb der KZ 6. Auch in 3 und 5 liegen Sb2O2- und z. T. Sb2Hal2-Vierringe vor. Die Strukturen dürften sich allerdings von denen von 2 und 4 unterscheiden.

    Description / Table of Contents: Vibrational Spectra of AlkoxostibanesThe vibrational spectra of the ethoxostibanes Sb(OEt)3 (1), Sb(OEt)2Cl (2), SbOEtCl2 (3), Sb(OEt)2Br (4), SbOEtBr2 (5), and Sb(OEt)2I (6) were assigned with the aid of the known structures of 2 and 3 in the solid state. The structures of 5 and 6, which were prepared by new methods, differ from those of the corresponding chloro compounds. The coordination number of antimony in 5 and 6 is probable 5 and 4 resp.
    Notes: Die Schwingungsspektren der Ethoxostibane Sb(OEt)3 (1), Sb(OEt)2Cl (2) SbOEtCl2 (3), Sb(OEt)2Br (4), SbOEtBr2 (5) und Sb(OEt)2I (6) werden zugeordnet. Als Zuordnungshilfe wurden die bekannten Strukturen von 2 und 3 herangezogen. Von 4-6, die nach neuen Verfahren dargestellt wurden, besitzt 4 eine zu 2 vergleichbare Struktur, während 5 und 6 Strukturen aufweisen, in denen das Antimon wahrscheinlich die Koordinationszahlen fünf und vier hat.

    Description / Table of Contents: Dimethylammonium Chloroantimonates. Structure and Vibrational SpectraTetrakis(dimethylammonium)-chloride-hexachloroantimonate(III) (3) and the N-deuterated compound 4 were prepared. The structure of 3 was determined by X-Ray analysis. There are discrete chloride and distorted octahedral hexachloroantimonate(III) ions hydrogen bonded to the cations. The vibrational spectra of 3 and 4 are compared with those of the related nonachlorodiantimonate(III) (1), the pentachloroantimonate(III) (2), and two other hexachloroantimonates(III), and the spectral range of the NH and SbCl vibrations is discussed.
    Notes: Das Tetrakis(dimethylammonium)-chlorid-hexachloroantimonat(III) (3) sowie das N-deuterierte Analoga (4) wurden dargestellt. Die Struktur von 3, die durch Röntgenstrukturanalyse ermittelt wurde, besteht aus diskreten Chlorid- und verzerrt oktaedrischen Hexachloroantimonat(III)-Anionen, die über H-Brückenbindungen mit den Kationen verknüpft sind. Die Schwingungsspektren von 3 und 4 werden mit denen des entsprechenden Nonachlorodiantimonats(III) (1), des Pentachloroantimonats(III) (2) sowie zweier weiterer Hexachloroantimonate(III) verglichen, und im Bereich der NH- und SbCl-Valenzschwingungen diskutiert.
