Abstract A procedure and test equipment for determining nonsteady aerodynamic forces acting on blades of a plane grid in translational vibrations are presented. It is rendered possible to separately determine vectors of forces acting on the examined blade both when it vibrates singly and as a result of vibrations of other grid blades in the flow. The procedure is based on measurement and analysis of the excitation forces of a vibration stimulator which maintains dynamic equilibrium of the vibrational system containing the blade. The design of a vibration unit and scheme of a vibration-measuring complex are described. Results of experimental measurements are compared with known theoretical data.
