Notes: Ausgehend von Pentaglycerin wurde das 1.1.1-Tri-[aminomethyl]-äthan dargestellt. Durch seine Kondensation mit Formaldehyd wurde das 1-Methyl-3.5.7-triaza-tricyclo-[3.3.1.13,7]-decan erhalten. Das dieser Verbindung zugrunde liegende Ringsystem besitzt Urotropin-Struktur und leitet sich vom Urotropin durch Ersatz eines Ringstickstoffatoms durch Kohlenstoff ab. Das neue Ringsystem zeigt eine wesentlich höhere Stabilität als das Urotropin.
