Description: This project was carried out from November 2008 for about two years. Seven laboratories of the research center including: Chromatography, Instrumental Analysis, Aquatic zoology, Sample preparation, Histology, Plankton and Benthos were selected for the accreditation. The quality manual of the test laboratories was written following the general requirements of ISO/IEC 17025. During the establishment of the system standardization of the test methods, calibration of the equipment, test methods validation, uncertainty estimation of measurement and update and improvement of physical conditions of the laboratories were performed. The technical and quality management competence of the laboratories were evaluated by the auditors from DGA (the German Accreditation System for Testing Laboratories), which is signatory of ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation). The laboratories officially accredited by DGA, after the successful completion of the accreditation process (including implementation of corrective actions for the detected nonconformities). The accreditation is valid from 2009-11-12 to 2014-11-11. Production of reliable results of the test methods from national and international scientific organizations' point of view as well as facilitation in development of bilateral and multilateral relations with them can be considered as the advantages of the system establishment. Moreover, exchange of the relevant scientific information and experiences among the researchers will be facilitated.

Description: In order to qualitative evaluation of the sediment samples, the samples were seasonally taken in the Tiab basin for one year from autumn 1994 to summer 1995. Four stations were considered to be sampled that the first was between the south and north Tibet, the second station is located to the south Tiab and the third station located at the subbranch of the canal and the station 4 at the branch of estuary. Two ecological indicators based on macrobenthos community were used to calculate ABC and w-statistic indices. Spatial distribution of macrobenthos density at four stations showed that station 4 with an average of 1467 individual per square meters had the highest density, followed by station 3, 1 and 2, respectively, with 652, 393 and 223 individual per square meters in ranking are next. Amount of weight-based indices showed that the frequency curve in the ABC index is located on the top of the weight curve at all four stations and the w-statistic index with the lowest value is -0.433 at station 2. The results of this study showed that, although at stations far from shrimp breeding grounds, the diversity is more than those are close to shrimp farms, but biodiversity figures indicate that all areas are affected by effluent from shrimp pools.

Description: Four components were used to identification the effective physical-chemical factors of water on the variations of dominant fish families. The total variation of the variables was concluded 94/17 % and 90/5%, related to the loaded components in artificial reefs of Bandar-E-Salakh and Bandar-E-Bostaneh respectively.Assessment of the loaded factors in each of the components were identified that nitrate, nitrite, phosphate and chlorophyll a factors with positive load and temperature and salinity with negative factor load as the most important factors affecting the demographic changes of some fish families. Temperature, pH, nitrate, nitrite and phosphate were diagnosed parameters for water quality in two areas based on PCA results. The results of this study showed that nutrients (nitrate, nitrite, phosphate and chlorophyll a) had great influence on structure of fish in artificial reefs, that together with the physical-chemical parameters of water to impact on the chain and food web of fish and fauna of these ecosystems, ultimately.
