Erosion corrosion and environmental chamber corrosion studies conducted on plasmasprayed samples from three different spray dried and densified nanopowders showed goodresistance to corrosion. A dense, uniform and even distribution of splats and small number ofmicrovoids and pores offered a high resistance to erosion-corrosion in sodium chloride polystyreneslurry. The coatings offer a high resistance in salt spray chamber environment
