Description / Table of Contents:
Summary Indium is determined in lead and zinc ores by dissolving these materials and then coprecipitating the indium with iron (III) hydroxide at pH 7.5. The indium is extracted as oxinate from the solution of the precipitate at pH 3.5 by means of chloroform. The extraction residue is mineralized and the indium measured polarographically. — The results are accurate and readily reproduced.
