Ring Contractions of Octamethylcyclotetrasilazanes to Silyl-Substituted CyclotrisilazanesReaction of the mono- and dilithium derivatives of bis(fluorsilyl)-substituted cyclotetrasilazanes with fluorosilanes and fluoroboranes leads to ring contraction with formation of cyclotrisilazanes (1 - 8). The isomerisation is proved by the crystal structure determination of 1 and by NMR spectroscopy.
