Notes:
A laser mirror mount is described for use in a vacuum enclosure which will allow for horizontal and vertical movement and, in addition, offer linear travel of around 1 cm with micron accuracy. This design is relatively simple and easy to produce and has proven both rugged and reliable in day-to-day use. Such a mount has great potential in applications such as color center lasers where operation at 77 K is required, thus necessitating a vacuum enclosure.
