    Beschreibung / Inhaltsverzeichnis: Es wurde die Zusammensetzung von Lanthanmolybdat-Niederschlägen untersucht, die sich aus Lanthannitrat und Lösungen verschieden kondensierter Na-Molybdate bilden. Die Reaktionen wurden bei verschiedenem pH, in rein wäßrigem oder wäßrig-alkoholischem Medium durch amperometrische und konduktometrische Titration verfolgt. Im pH-Bereich von 5,0-6,0 bildet sich das Orthomolybdat La2O3 · 3 MoO3, bei pH = 3,5-4,5 das Paramolybdat La2O3 · 7 MoO3.
    Notizen: The formation and precipitation of lanthanum molybdates obtained by the interaction of lanthanum nitrate and different alkali molybdates (normal, di, para and meta) have been studied by means of amperometric and conductometric titrations between the reactants at different pH ranges, in aqueous and aqueous-alcoholic media, with each of the reagents alternately used as the titrant. Electrometric experiments provide definite evidence for the formation of normal lanthanum molybdate La2O3 · 3 MoO3 at pH range 5.0-6.0 and para-molybdate La2O3 · 7 MoO3 at pH range 3.5-4.5. The precipitation of normal molybdate is almost quantitative.

Coordination compounds, [MoIII(diket) 3], with the diketones acetylacetone (Aca), benzoylacetone (BA), trifluoracetylacetone (AcaF3) and thenoyltrifluoracetone (TTA) have been prepared.Also the reaction with dibenzoylmethane and hexafluoracetylacetone was object of the investigation.
    Notizen: Es wurde der Umsatz von Molybdän(III)-salzen mit 1,3-Diketonen im wäßrigen Medium untersucht.Dabei konnten Komplexverbindungen vom typ [MoIII(diket)3] mit folgenden 1,3-Diketonen erhalten werden : Acetylaceton (Aca), Trifluoracetylaceton (AcaF3), Benzoylaceton (BA) und Thenoyltrifluoraceton (TTA). Die Reaktion mit Dibenzoylmethan und Hexafluoracetylaceton war ebenfalls Gegenstand der Untersuchung.

    Beschreibung / Inhaltsverzeichnis: The polymeric fluorocompounds Me4[Sn2F10O], Me2SnF4O, Me2SnF2O2, and Me4[Ge2F10O] with Me = Na, K have been prepared by thermal condensation reactions of fluorohydroxostannates and pentafluoromonohydroxogermanates, respectively. NH4 fluorohydroxostannates react at lower temperatures similarly like the corresponding alkali salts, at higher temperatures coloured N-containing tin oxidefluorides are formed.
    Notizen: Es werden die Kondensationsreaktionen der Fluorohydroxostannate und von Pentafluoromonohydroxogermanat beschrieben. Reaktionsprodukte sind K4[Sn2F10O], K2SnF4O, K2SnF2O2, K4[Ge2F10O] oder auch entsprechende Natriumsalze. Die nicht mit eckigen Klammern formulierten Salze sind als hochpolymere Gebilde aufzufassen. Ammoniumfluorohydroxostannate zeigen bei niederen Temperaturen ähnliches Verhalten wie die Alkalisalze. Bei höheren Temperaturen entstehen gefärbte stickstoffhaltige Zinnoxidfluoride.

Further fluorination by means of AsF3 leads to the mixed halogenides V2Cl3F5 and VClF3 exhibiting, at room temperature, relatively high Cl2 dissoziation pressures.Elemental fluorine interacts with VCl3 at 180°C forming a new, light-green modification of VF4.
    Notizen: PCl5 · VCl4 reagiert in AsCl3 mit Arsentrifluorid unter Entwicklung von PF5. Eine weitere Zugabe von AsF3 führt zu gemischten Halogeniden V2Cl3F5 und VClF3. Beide Verbindungen — besonders die letztere — haben schon bei Zimmertemperatur einen merklichen Chlordampfdruck, so daß eine Darstellung gemischter Chloridfluoride des Vanadiums durch Chlorieren von Vanadinfluoriden bei höherer Temperatur nicht möglich ist. Fluor setzt sich mit VCl3 bei 180°C zu einer noch nicht beschriebenen hellgrünen Modifikation des Vanadin(IV)-fluorids um.

    Beschreibung / Inhaltsverzeichnis: Aus Nickel(II)-phthalimid und Ammoniak, aliphatischen Aminen sowie einigen Diaminen wurden Komplexverbindungen der allgemeinen Formel Ni(phthalimid)2 · (Amin)2 hergestellt. Aus Leitfähigkeits- und kryoskopischen Messungen an Lösungen in Nitrobenzol geht hervor, daß diese Verbindungen in Nitrobenzol Nichtelektrolyte sind, d. h. daß auch das Phthalimidion als starker Ligand an das Ni(II) gebunden ist.
    Notizen: Co-ordination complexes between nickel(II) phthalimide and ammonia, some aliphatic amines and a few diamines have been prepared. The molecular formulae on the basis of percentages of constituent elements are Ni(phthalimide)2 · (amine)2. Conductivity measurements in nitrobenzene indicate the complexes to be nonelectrolytes and hence it is suggested that the phthalimide ions are also coordinated. Molecular weight measurements in the same solvent confirm this.
