The structure of Si- and N-substituted 2-sila- and 2,6-disila-morpholines and some derivatives is discussed by considering the chemical reactivities, IR- and NMR-spectra. Instead of the 9,5 μ-stretching vibration in siloxanes, IR-spectra of 2,6-disilamorpholines show an absorption at 10,15 μ owing to ring tension. In some cases, chemical shifts in NMR-spectra correspond with reactivities.

Die Konstitution von Si- und N-substituierten 2-Sila- und 2,6-Disilamorpholinen sowie ihrer höhermolekularen cyclischen Derivate wird an Hand von chemischen Methoden, Infrarot- und Kernresonanzspektren diskutiert. Die IR-Spektren der 2,6-Disila-morpholine zeigen an Stelle der sonst um 9,5 μ liegenden Valenzschwingung der Siloxanbindung eine neue Bande bei 10,15 μ, die auf Ringspannung zurückgeführt wird. Ein Zusammenhang zwischen der chemischen Verschiebung der Kernresonanzspektren und der Reaktivität wird in einigen Fällen offenbar.
