    Notes: Zusammenfassung Durch Wegkochen von NH3 aus ammoniakalischen Tartratlösungen des As2O3 und Sb2O3 in verschiedenem Verhältnis wurden einerseits monokline Mischkristalle der Oxyde mit einem Gehalt zwischen 100 und 70 Molprozent Arsen, andererseits kubische Mischkristalle mit 30 bis 100 Molprozent Antimon gewonnen. Die analytischen Ergebnisse werden durch Röntgen- und Infrarot-Untersuchungen bestätigt, aus den letzteren ergeben sich weitere Hinweise auf die Struktur.

    Description / Table of Contents: Summary On the basis of the formation of the carbonato complex, it is possible to separate uranium (VI) in aqueous solution in amounts from 0.1 to 10μg on chromatographic paper and in amounts from 0.1 to 10μg on cellulose columns from all di- and polyvalent cations.
    Abstract: Résumé En utilisant la formation d'un complexe carbonato, on peut séparer en système aqueux l'uranium-VI en quantité de l'ordre de 0,1 à 10μg sur papier chromatographique et en quantité de 0,1 à 10 mg sur colonnes de cellulose d'avec des cations similaires bi et polyvalents.
    Notes: Zusammenfassung Auf Grund der Carbonatokomplexbildung kann in wäßrigem System Uran(VI) in Mengen von 0,1 bis 10μg an Chromatographiepapier und in Mengen von 0,1 bis 10 mg an Zellulosesäulen von sämtlichen zweiund mehrwertigen Kationen abgetrennt werden.

    Description / Table of Contents: Summary The following may be differentiated through the paper Chromatographic behavior of inorganic compounds in pure aqueous systems: anions, which as a rule migrate with the moving front; molecules, such as HgCl2, with constant pH-independentR f values; cations, which undergo cation exchange, essentially far migrating hydrated cations; and finally cations which in comparison migrate but sligthly, and which are hydrolyzed on paper and are highly pH-dependent. On the basis of the knowledge of this behavior, it is possible in the chromatogram to follow reactions with precipitation- and complexing reagents, which very quickly (within 1 to 2 hours) yield a general view of an unknown mode of reaction with amounts of several micrograms and less particularly also in comparison with known systems.
    Abstract: Résumé On peut différencier, d'après le comportement chromatographique sur papier, les composés minéraux en système aqueux pur: les anions, qui se déplacent en général avec le front de l'agent entraîneur; les molécules, comme HgCl2, dont les valeurs duR f sont constantes et indépendantes du pH; les cations, qui sont influencés par l'échange cationique et qui sont principalement des cations hydratés qui se déplacent beaucoup, et, finalement, les cations se déplaçant relativement moins, dépendant fortement du pH et hydrolysés sur le papier. La connaissance de ce comportement permet d'effectuer sur le chromatogramme, au moyen de réactifs précipitants ou complexants, des transpositions qui, comparées avec d'autres systèmes connus, donnent alors très rapidement (en 1 à 2 heures) un aperçu sur un type de réaction inconnu, avec des quantités de l'ordre de quelques microgrammes et même moins.
    Notes: Zusammenfassung Im papierchromatographischen Verhalten anorganischer Verbindungen im rein wäßrigen System lassen sich unterscheiden: Anionen, die in der Regel mit der Laufmittelfront wandern, Molekel wie HgCl2 mit pH-unabhängigen konstantenR f -Werten, dem Kationenaustausch unterliegende, im wesentlichen hochwandernde hydratisierte Kationen und schließlich am Papier hydrolysierte, stark pH-abhängig und relativ wenig wandernde Kationen. Auf Grund der Kenntnis dieses Verhaltens lassen sich Umsetzungen mit Fällungs- und Komplexreagenzien im Chromatogramm verfolgen, die sehr rasch (in 1 bis 2 Stunden) einen Überblick, insbesondere auch im Vergleich mit bekannten Systemen, über eine unbekannte Reaktionsweise mit Mengen von einigen Mikrogramm und darunter geben.
