7Li-NMR spin-lattice relaxation T1 of hydrated zeolite Li–X has been determined at 23.5 MHz between 140 and 295 K for samples with different Fe content. The results show that relaxation by paramagnetic Fe impurities is dominating near the T1 minimum in samples which contain 100 ppm Fe. The whole spectrum of all Li ions is observed by NMR, the free induction decay is nonexponential at 295 K.
