    Description / Table of Contents: Ionic Structures of 4- and 5-coordinated Silicon. Novel Ionic Crystal Structures of 4- and 5-coordinated Silicon: [Me3Si(NMI)]+ Cl-, [Me2HSi(NMI)2]+ Cl-, [Me2Si(NMI)3]2+ 2 Cl-. NMIMe3SiCl forms with N-Methylimidazole (NMI) a crystalline 1:1-compound which is stable at room temperature. The X-ray single crystal investigation proves the ionic structure [Me3Si(NMI)]+Cl- 1 which is the result of the cleavage of the Si—Cl bond and the addition of an NMI-ring. The reaction of Me2HSiCl with NMI (in the molar ratio of 1:2), under cleavage of the Si—Cl bond and co-ordination of two NMI rings, yields the compound [Me2HSi(NMI)2]+Cl- 2. The analogous reaction of Me2SiCl2 with NMI (molar ratio 2:1) leads to a compound which consists of Me2SiCl2 and NMI in the molar ratio of 1:2. During the sublimation single crystals of the compound [Me2Si(NMI)3]2+ 2 Cl-. NMI 3 are formed.
    Notes: Me3SiCl bildet mit N-Methylimidazol (NMI) eine bei Raumtemperatur beständige, kristalline 1:1 Verbindung. Nach der Röntgenstrukturanalyse entsteht unter Spaltung der Si—Cl-Bindung und Anlagerung eines NMI-Rings eine Verbindung ionischer Struktur [Me3Si(NMI)]+Cl- 1. Die Reaktion von Me2HSiCl mit NMI (Molverhältnis 1:2) führt unter Spaltung der Si—Cl-Bindung und Koordination von zwei NMI-Ringen zur Verbindung [Me2HSi(NMI)2]+Cl- 2. Bei der analogen Umsetzung von Me2SiCl2 mit NMI (Molverhältnis 2:1) entsteht eine Verbindung, die Me2SiCl2 und NMI im Molverhältnis 1:2 enthält. Bei der Sublimation werden Einkristalle der Verbindung [Me2Si(NMI)3]2+ 2 Cl-· NMI 3 erhalten.

    Notes: The PCILO method was used to study systems with the following types of intermolecular hydrogen bonds, involving 2nd row atoms: N…H—S, S…H—S, N…H—Cl, Cl…H—F, Cl…H—Cl, P…H—N, P…H—P, P…H—F, S…H—F.In all the cases calculated, the PCILO method yields an accurate qualitative description of the stabilization energies and to some extent quantitatively good agreement with reliable ab initio and experimental results. The corresponding equilibrium distances are in almost all cases smaller (up to 0.6 Å) than the ab initio values of the same compounds.

    Notes: Durch Umsetzung der Lösungen von Nitrosylchloroantimonat, NO[SbCl6], und Tetramethylammonium-hexafluophosphat, [N(CH3)4]PF6, in flüssigem Schwefeldioxyd wurde das Nitrosyl-hexafluophosphat, NO[PF6] erhalten. Es konnte durch eine Leitfähigkeitsmessung seiner Lösung in Nitromethan als Salz charakterisiert werden. Seine Darstellung und seine chemischen Eigenschaften werden eingehender beschrieben.

    Notes: Dimethylen-glucose wurde kristallisiert erhalten. Ihre Konstitution entspricht derjenigen der Isodiaceton-glucose; die 6-Stellung ist unbesetzt, was u.a. aus der Umwandlung in eine Dimethylen-glucuronsäure hervorgeht. Die 6-Acetyl-dimethylen-glucose wird durch Kaliumpermanganat in phosphorsaurer Lösung zum 6-Acetylmonomethylen-glucose-carbonat-(1.2) oxydiert, aus dem eine Monomethylen-glucose erhalten wird, die Fehlingsche Lösung reduziert und ein Monomethylen glucose-phenylosazon liefert. In ihr ist die Methylengruppe in 3.5-Stellung gebunden, da sie nur 1 Mol. Natriumperjodat verbraucht. Die zweite Methylengruppe der Dimethylen-glucose sitzt in 1.2-Stellung.Für die Monomethylen-glucose von Tollens wird ein neues einfacheres Darstellungsverfahren angegeben. Sie enthält die Methylen-gruppe in 4.6-Stellung, wie sich aus dem Verbrauch von 2 Moll. Perjodat unter Bildung von 2 Moll. Ameisensäure ergibt.

    Notes: Als Vorarbeit zu Synthesen in der Reihe der Ellagengerbstoffe war die Synthese einer 3.6-Diphenoyl-glucose beabsichtigt. Diacetonglucose wurde auf zwei Wegen in den sauren Diphensäure-ester der 1.2; 5.6-Diaceton-glucose (IV) überführt. Abspaltung der Acetongruppe aus der 5.6-Stellung führte zum entsprechenden sauren Diphensäure-ester der 1.2-Aceton-glucofuranose (VIII). Der Ringschluß gelang durch intramolekulare Veresterung unter der Mitwirkung von Trifluoressigsäure-anhydrid. Er führte nicht zu der erwarteten 3.6-Diphenoyl-Verbindung, sondern zu 1.2-Aceton-3.5-diphenoyl-glucofuranose (IX), die zur 3.5-Diphenoyl-glucofuranose (X) entacetoniert wurde.

Phenylhydrazin wurden 4-Methyl-pyrazolidon-(3) bzw. 4-Methyl-1-phenyl-pyrazolidon-(3) bzw.-(5) erhalten. Es wurden ferner Acryl-, Methacryl- und α-Chloracryl-isocyanat hergestellt und zahlreiche Anlagerungsreaktionen derselben an ein- und zweiwertige Verbindungen und Polymerisationsreaktionen untersucht.

    Notes: Aus α.ω-Diaminen wurden über die entsprechenden Diharnstoffe bzw. Diurethane α.ω-Bisdiazo-alkane mit 2-8 Kohlenstoffatomen dargestellt. Sie konnten mit Ausnahme des Bisdiazo-äthans als ölige, sehr zersetzliche Substanzen gewonnen werden. Wohldefinierte Umsetzungsprodukte konnten mit allen dargestellten Bisdiazo-Verbindungen erhalten werden.
