    Beschreibung / Inhaltsverzeichnis: Zusammenfassung Mittels Thermoanalyse wurden kommerzielle, mit der Sulfattechnologie erhaltene γ-Fe2O3 Ferropulver untereinander verglichen. In Abhängigkeit von der Technologie kann jeder γ-Fe2O3-Typ durch gewisse thermische Umwandlungsfolge charakterisiert werden. Thermoanalyse und Datensystematisierung ermöglichten es, Kriterien zur Qualifizierung von γ-Fe2O3 Partikeln zu finden. Man fand, daß LKN Ferropulver mehr unausgewogene Oberflächeneigenschaften und chemische Zusammensetzungen besitzt als PERK- und GX-Ferropulver.
    Notizen: Abstract Commercial γ-Fe2O3 ferro-powders obtained by the sulphate technology, have been compared by means of thermal analysis. Depending on the technology, each type of γ-F2O3 was found to be characterized by certain thermal transformation sequence. Thermal analysis and data systematisation allowed to find criteria for the qualification of γ- Fe2O3 particles. LKN ferropowders were found to have more disbalanced surface properties and chemical composition than PERK and GX ferro-powders.

    Notizen: Abstract A new universal scaled equation of state for one-component fluids, binary mixtures, and ionic solutions, which represents the thermodynamic behavior of fluids in a wide range of temperatures and densities including the critical region, is proposed. Near the critical point this equation reduces to a theoretically based scaled equation including the leading nonasymptotic (Wegner) correction and a correction accounting for the asymmetry of fluids with respect to the critical isochore. Far away from the critical point the new equation goes over into the classical Landau expansion (van der Waals equation). The new equation is applied to represent experimental P-V-T data for H2O and CO2, as well as to represent C v,x data for dilute aqueous solutions of NaCl. A crossover from fluctuation to mean-field behavior is observed at increased concentrations of NaCl. A universal crossover function for the heat capacity C v,x of one-component fluids and binary mixtures is presented.

    Notizen: Abstract On the basis of the isomorphism of critical phenomena, the behavior of transport properties of binary mixtures in the vicinity of the vapor-liquid critical line is considered. In particular, the renormalization of the singularity of the thermal conductivity in dilute critical solutions has been analyzed in detail. It is shown that the behavior of the thermal conductivity is determined by the “critical background,” i.e., the fluctuation-induced regular part, which diverges at the critical point of a solvent.

Based on a comparison with experimental data for ethane and methane, it is demonstrated that the crossover model is capable of representing the thermodynamic properties of fluids in a large range of temperatures and densities around the critical point.

    Notizen: Abstract The behavior of the transport coefficients related to diffusion, heat conduction, and their cross-processes in fluid mixtures near the consolute point and the liquid-vapor critical line is investigated. Simple crossover equations for the critical enhancement of those coefficients are developed by incorporating a finite cutoff and time-dependent correlation functions of the order parameter and of the entropy into decoupled-mode theory integrals. It is shown that the thermal conductivity of a binary mixture is nondivergent and the crossover from the critical background in the critical point to the regular background far from the critical point is elucidated. The crossover to the behavior of the thermal conductivity in the one-component limit is also discussed.

    Notizen: Abstract The dynamics of125I distribution is studied in rats with induced tumors of the prostate and mammary gland for intravenous administration of125I-3D-G. It is found that 80% of the activity is eliminated in the first 24 hours. A relatively high level of125I accumulation is found in necrotically altered regions of the tumor.
