Abstract An integral expression for domain stresses in the elastoplastic boundary element method is presented. Thus it is not necessary to evaluate the Cauchy. principal value in domain integral. This method shows some improvement in the accuracy and efficiency for the numerical process. A numerical result of axisymmetric elastoplastic problem has been worked out and a comparison with analytical result is given.
