    Notes: Unter Variation der Reaktionsbedingungen wird an homologen racemischen α-Aminopropiophenon-Derivaten mit N-Phenylalkylresten vom Typ C6H5—(CH2)n  -  (n = 1 bis 4) der Einfluß des Phenylsubstituenten an den Alkylgruppen des Aminostickstoffs auf den sterischen Verlauf der Reduktion mit Natriumboranat, Lithiumalanat, Lithium-tri-tert.-butoxy-alanat, Aluminiumisopropylat und Chloraluminiumdiisopropylat untersucht.Aus den Ergebnissen geht hervor, daß Monophenylalkylaminopropiophenone unabhängig vom Raumbedarf der benutzten Kryptobasen zu erythro-Epimeren reduziert werden.Bei der Reduktion von phenylsubstituierten Dialkylamino-propiophenonen mit Kryptobasen geringen Volumens (z.B. LiAlH4) werden Gemische aus erythro- und threo-Epimeren erhalten, deren Verteilungsverhältnis von der Stellung des Phenylrestes abhängt. Voluminöse Kryptobasen (z.B. Aluminiumisopropylat) führen zu Reaktionsprodukten mit threo-Konfiguration.

    Description / Table of Contents: Thermal spraying. Thermal spraying in comparison with other coating techniques is characterized by a broad variability of base and spraying materials. After a brief description of actually used equipments some coating properties are summarized. Thermally sprayed special metal will become interesting in near future from commercial and technical point of view. With those metals homogeneous coatings can be produced without porosity.
    Notes: Das thermische Spritzen zeichnet sich gegenüber anderen Verfahren zur Oberflächenbeschichtung durch die Vielfältigkeit der verwendbaren Grund- und Spritzwerkstoffe aus. Neben einer Beschreibung gegenwärtig eingesetzter Geräte wird kurz auf den Schichtaufbau eingegangen. Wirtschaftlich und technisch von besonderem Interesse werden in naher Zukunft thermisch gespritzte Schichten aus Sondermetallen sein, die sich unter Schutzgas porenfrei und homogen erzeugen lassen.

    Description / Table of Contents: New Fluorides with Divalent Silver MIAgIIMIIIF6 with MI = K, Rb, Cs and M = Al, Ga, In, Tl, Se, Fe, CoNew obtained are compounds MIAgIIMIIIF6 with MI = K, Rb, Cs and MIII = Tl, In, Ga, Al, Sc, Fe, Co which show remarkable colours. CsAgTlF6 (a = 10.89 Å) CsAgInF6, (a = 10.84 Å) and CsAgScF6, (a = 10.79 Å) are cubic examples of the RbNiCrF6-type of structure. The magnetic behaviour is complicated. The MADELUNG Part of Lattice Energy (MAPLE) is calculated and discussed.
    Notes: Neu dargestellt wurden Verbindungen MIAgIIMIIIF6 mit MI= K, Rb, Cs und MIII = Tl, In, Ga, Al, Sc, Fe und Co, die auffallende Farben aufweisen. CsAgTIF6, (a = 10,89 Å), CsAgInF6, (a = 10,84 Å) und CsAgScF6 (a = 10.79 Å) kristallisieren kubisch im RbNiCrF6-Typ. Das magnetische Verhalten ist kompliziert. Der MADELUNG-Anteil der Gitterenergie (MAPLE) wird berechnet und diskutiert.

    Notes: Titantetramethyl und andere Titantetraorganyle reagieren mit lithiumorganischen Verbindungen und mit Lithiumchlorid zu Komplexen, die in Gegenwart geeigneter ein- und zweizähniger sauerstoff- oder stickstoffhaltiger Liganden in Form kristalliner, farbiger Addukte isoliert werden können.Auf Grund der experimentellen Ergebnisse wird auf das Vorliegen ionisch gebauter Alkylotitanate(IV) geschlossen.

The Crystal Structure of Monoclinic CaGa2O4Single crystals of monoclinic CaGa2O4 were prepared and investigated by X-ray goniometer data: a = 7.992, b = 8.830, c = 10.585 Å, β = 94.72°, space group C2h5 - P21/C. The monoclinic modification represents like the orthorhombic a new member of the stuffed tridymite structure.
    Notes: Von der monoklinen Modifikation der Verbindung CaGa2O4 wurden Einkristalle dargestellt und ihre Kristallstruktur mit Diffraktometer-Röntgendaten bestimmt; a = 7,992, b = 8,830, c = 10,585 Å, β = 94,72°, Raumgruppe C2h5 - P21/C. Ebenso wie die orthorhombische stellt auch die monokline Modifikation einen weiteren Vertreter der aufgefüllten Tridymitstrukturen dar.

    Description / Table of Contents: On a Novel Alkaline Earth Metal Oxothallate: Sr4Tl2O7The hitherto unknown compound Sr4Tl2O7 was prepared and investigated by X-ray single crystal methods. Sr4Tl2O7 crystallizes in the tetragonal space group C4V4—P42nm (a = 5.006, c = 18.73 Å). Sr2+ has a trigonal prismatic surrounding whereas Tl3+ shows 2+2 oxygen neighbours. The crystal structure is completely described.
    Notes: Erstmals wurde Sr4Tl2O7 dargestellt und an Einkristallen die Kristallstruktur bestimmt. Sr4Tl2O7 gehört zur tetragonalen Raumgruppe C4V4—P42nm (a = 5,006, c = 18,73 Å). Sr2+ ist trigonal prismatisch, Tl3+ planar durch 2+2 O2--Teilchen umgeben. Eine ausführliche Beschreibung der Kristallstruktur wird gegeben.

    Description / Table of Contents: Calorimetrische Untersuchung des flüssigen Systems Blei(II)-oxid-Germaniumdioxid bei 900°CDie partiellen Enthalpie-Werte für flüssiges Blei(II)-oxid und tetragonales Germaniumdioxid in Bleigermanat-Schmelzen wurden calorimetrisch bei 900°C im Bereich von 0 bis 65 Mol-% GeO2 gemessen. Die entsprechenden integralen Enthalpien der Gemische wurden berechnet. Eine relativ scharfe Abhängigkeit der partiellen Enthalpien von den Zusammensetzungen im Bereich von NGeO2 = 0,3 bis 0,45 beruht wahrscheinlich auf der Bildung von Ge2O6-7.
    Notes: The partial enthalpies of liquid lead(II) oxide and of tetragonal germanium dioxide in lead germanate melts were measured calorimetrically at 900°C in the range 0 to 65 mole-% GeO2. The corresponding integral enthalpies of mixing were calculated. A relatively sharp dependence of the partial enthalpies on composition in the range from NGeO2 = 0.3 to 0.45 probably is due to the formation of Ge2O6-7.

    Description / Table of Contents: Crystal Structure of Ba5(CrO4)3OHFor the first time the crystal structure of Ba5(CrO4)3OH was examined by single crystal x-ray diffraction data. The space group C6h2—P63/m must be given up in favour of the lower symmetry C66—P63, depending on the general equivalent position of the OH-group. A discussion of the crystal structure is given.
    Notes: Die Kristallstruktur von Ba5(CrO4)3OH wurde erstmals an Einkristallen untersucht. Die Raumgruppe C6h2—P63/m muß zu Gunsten der niederen Symmetrie C66—P63 verlassen werden. Dies wird durch einen freien z-Parameter für die OH-Gruppe bedingt. Auswirkungen auf die Kristallstruktur werden diskutiert.
