Beschreibung:
A high incidence of tumor regression was observed in guinea pigs bearing transplantable, line-10 hepatocellular carcinomas when synthetic muramyl dipeptides combined with trehalose dimycolate in oil-in-water emulsions were injected directly into the tumors. These compounds are promising candidates to replace viable bacillus Calmette-Guerin in cancer immunotherapy in humans and animals.〈br /〉〈span class="detail_caption"〉Notes: 〈/span〉McLaughlin, C A -- Schwartzman, S M -- Horner, B L -- Jones, G H -- Moffatt, J G -- Nestor, J J Jr -- Tegg, D -- New York, N.Y. -- Science. 1980 Apr 25;208(4442):415-6.〈br /〉〈span class="detail_caption"〉Record origin:〈/span〉 〈a href="http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7189295" target="_blank"〉PubMed〈/a〉
