    Description / Table of Contents: Abstract The molar conductivities of SbCl5 and BCl3 in nitrobenzene are increased by addition of phosphoryl compounds. The conductivity depends on the donor strength of the phosphoryl compounds: POCl3〈PhPOF2〈PhPOFCl〈PhPOCl2〈 〈Ph 2POF∼Ph 2POCl〈TBP〈TMP〈Ph 3PO〈HMPA provided that no side reaction occurs. The ionization is attributed to autocomplex formation: $$2 D \cdot ACl_n \begin{array}{*{20}c} { - \to } \\ { \leftarrow - } \\ \end{array} [D_2 ACl_{n - 1} ]^ + + [ACl_{n + 1} ]^ -$$ .
