Notes:
Summary 1. A study has been made of the conditions for hydrogenation of a 140–240 °C straight-run fraction on platinum-rhenium catalyst. The optimal process regime has been found, giving almost 90% conversion of the aromatic hydrocarbons. 2. With alumina-platinum catalyst, a pressure of 40 kg/cm2 and a temperature of 300°C are required to achieve this conversion.
