Description / Table of Contents: Abstract Addition of trinitromethane and 1.1-dinitroethane to chloromethyl vinyl ketone, methyl 2-chloroacrylate and 2-chloroacrolein, respectively, gave di-and trinitrochloroketones and the corresponding esters and aldehydes which by reduction with corresponding esters and aldehydes which by reduction with NaBH4 furnished di-and trinitrochlorohydrins. Only 1-chloro-5.5-dinitrohexanol-(2) when treated with alkalies gave an epoxide, the 5.5-dinitrohexene-1-oxide. 5-Chloromethyl-2.2-dinitrotetrahydrofuran was obtained from 1-chloro-5.5.5-trinitropentanol-(2) by abstraction of a nitrite ion and cyclization.
Notes: Zusammenfassung Durch Addition von Nitroform bzw. 1,1-Dinitroäthan an Chlormethylvinylketon, 2-Chloracrylsäuremethylester bzw.
