Zusammenfassung Durch intravenöse Verabreichung von Cr-51-Albumin an Ferkel wurde festgestellt, daß der Befall mit Hyostrongylus rubidus zu einem erhöhten gastrointestinalen Plasmaproteinverlust führt. Nach einer Infektionsdosis von 1000 Larven/kg KGW ist er am 25. Tage p.i. etwa fünfmal stärker als bei nichtinfizierten Tieren. Durch 500 Larven/kg KGW beträgt er etwa das dreifache. 3 Tage nach Beseitigung einer patenten Infektion durch 60 mg/kg Cambendazol ist die Durchlässigkeit der Schleimhaut für Plasmaproteine fast wieder normal.

Summary Infection of pigs with Hyostrongylus rubidus increased the gastrointestinal loss of plasma proteins as was revealed by intravenously administered Cr-51-albumine. There was about 5 times as much leakage on day 25 p.i. in an animal infected with 1000 larvae/kg body weight, and about 3 times as much in an animal infected with 500 larvae/kg body weight than in an not infected control animal. In an animal which had been treated successfully with Cambendazole® (60 mg/kg body weight) on day 22 p.i. (1000 larvae/kg body weight) leakage almost returned to the normal level 3 days after treatment.
