Summary The stability of the equilibrium state and the self-excited oscillation (surge) are analyzed of a system representing a simplified model of a system with compressor, blower or centrifugal pump. The model is governed by a system of two differential equations of the first order where the stationary non-oscillating solutions are represented in the phase plane by singular points and the oscillating solutions by limit cycles. The effect of a parameter proportional to the ratio of acoustic inductance to mass is analyzed.

Übersicht Es werden Stabilität des Gleichgewichtszustandes und von selbsterregten Schwingungen (Pumpen) eines Systems untersucht, das ein vereinfachtes Modell einer Anlage mit Verdichter, Ventilator oder Kreiselpumpe darstellt. Dieses Modell wird durch ein System von zwei Differentialgleichungen erster Ordnung beschrieben, wobei die nichtoszillierende stationäre Lösung durch singuläre Punkte in der Phasenebene und die oszillierenden Lösungen durch Grenzzyklen dargestellt sind. Es wird der Einfluß desjenigen Parameters untersucht, der dem Verhältnis von akustischer Nachgiebigkeit zu Masse proportional ist.
