    Description / Table of Contents: Summary For the purification of lithium and determination of its H and N content the sample is distilled in vacuum at 650–700° C in a stainless steel apparatus, Li collected in molybdenum crucibles and analysed for H by mass spectrometry. N is determined chemically by a colorimetric method. The limit of detection is 0.5 and 10 ppm for H and N, respectively.
    Notes: Zusammenfassung Die Probe wird im Vakuum bei 650–700° C in einer Apparatur aus rostfreiem Stahl destilliert, Li in einem Molybdäntiegel aufgefangen und H massenspektrometrisch bestimmt. N wird chemisch mit Hilfe einer colorimetrischen Methode bestimmt. Die Nachweisgrenze liegt bei 0,5 ppm (H) bzw. 10 ppm (N).
