Zusammenfassung Die moderne Analytik der Gegenwart und erst recht der Zukunft hat ihre Aufgabe nicht mehr allein in der Klärung von Art, Menge und Zustand bestimmter Substanzkomponenten. Das „Was, Wieviel und Wie“ als eng begrenzte taktische Fragestellung muß durch eine übergeordnete Strategie zur optimalen Gewinnung und Verwertung relevanter Informationen über Zustände und Prozesse in stofflichen Systemen erweitert werden. Das neuartige analytische Denken und Handeln erfordert zusätzliche Kenntnisse aus Gebieten, die bisher nur wenig in der Ausbildung des Analytikers berücksichtigt wurden. Insbesondere sind die Systemtheorie, die Spieltheorie und die Informationstheorie zu nennen. Die Grundlagen dieser Theorien werden skizziert und aus der Sicht der Analytik interpretiert. Sie bilden eine wichtige Voraussetzung zum Verständnis, zur kritischen Beurteilung und zum wirkungsvollen Einsatz von Automaten bei der Ermittlung und Auswertung analytischer Daten.

Abstract The function of modern analytics at the present time and furthermore in the future is not only to determine quality, quantity, and state of certain components in materials. The “What, How much and How” as limited, tactical questions must be extended by a super-posed strategy for an optimal gain and utilization of relevant information on the state and processes in material systems. This new way of analytical thinking and acting requires an additional knowledge in fields, which were as yet only less considered in education of analysts. In particular these fields are: system theory, theory of games, and information theory. They constitute an important basis for understanding, critical estimation, and an effective application of automats, determining and exploiting analytical data.
