Abstract Data are presented describing quantitatively the structure development in the Cu-9.7 at% Ni-1.2 at% Sn alloy during ageing at 673 K. On the basis of these results the contributions to the strength of the alloy from different structure types are evaluated. These are discussed with respect to their additivity.
