Die thermische Degradation der Chlorierungsprodukte von cis- und trans-1.4-Polybutadien wurde mit Hilfe der Pyrolyse-Gaschromatographie untersucht. Der Mechanismus der Chlorierung und der thermischen Degradation wurde über einen weiten Chlorierungsgrad geprüft. Außerdem wurde durch Analyse von charakteristischen Degradationsprodukten wie o-, m- und p-Dichlorbenzol und Vinylidenchlorid die sterische Struktur der sogenannten Kopf-Kopf-Polyvinylchloride geklärt.

Thermal degradation of chlorinated cis- and trans-polybutadienes was studied by means of pyrolysis-gas chromatography. The mechanism of chlorination reaction and thermal degradation of the polymers was examined over a wide range of degree of chlorination. The steric structure of so-called head-to-head polyvinyl chloride was elucidated by analysis of such characteristic degradation products as o-, m-, and p-dichlorobenzenes and vinylidenechloride.
