Notes:
Molecular weights of lactoglobuline and trypsin, as determined at pH 6.8, agree with the data generally admitted. However the molecular weight of trypsin in 1/100 M hydrochloric acid solution in the absence of salts, is two to three times lower than the value received in buffered solution at pH 6.8. With the purpose of detecting any combination or polymerization reaction, the study of mixtures showed that no conclusion may be obtained from the values of diffused light intensity at 90° when the diffusion diagram is not rigorously symmetrical.
