Contributions to the Chemical Transport of Oxidic Metal Compounds. X. Preparation of Thin Garnet Layers by Chemical Vapor DepositionFor deposition of single-phased Y3Fe5O12 (YIG) films the CVD (chemical vapor deposition) method was used with the system YCl3/FeCl2/O2 diluted by Ar but without addition of Cl2. For the adjustment of the experimental parameters a graphical manner of representation was used which allowed analysis of each experiment. We got YIG films on (111) YAG whose physical volume properties were given.

Das CVD-Verfahren wurde zur Abscheidung phasenreiner Y3Fe5O12 (YIG)-Schichten auf das mit Ar verdünnte System YCl3/FeCl2/O2 ohne Zusatz von Cl2 angewendet. Dabei wurde zur Einstellung der Versuchsparameter eine graphische Auftragungsweise benutzt, die die Nutzung eines jeden Versuches zur Apparatureinstellung gestattet. Es wurden YIG-Schichten auf (111)-YAG erhalten, deren physikalische Volumeneigenschaften angegeben werden.
