Description / Table of Contents: The crystal structure of solid PCl5 was refined by least-squares methods. Amplitudes of thermal vibrations were computed from anisotropic temperature factors; the chlorine atoms move most strongly perpendicular to the P—Cl bonds.

Notes: Die Kristallstruktur des festen PCl5 wurde mittels Least-Squares-Methoden verfeinert. Aus den anistropen Temperaturfaktoren wurden Amplituden für die Wärmeschwingungen im Kristall berechnet. Dabei zeigte es sich, daß die Chloratome am stärksten senkrecht zu den Hauptvalenzbindungen schwingen.
