The RAMAN and IR spectra of PH2F3 have been studied. The spectra of PF5, PF3Cl2 and PCl5 are used for comparison and a clear interpretation of the PH2F3 spectra which exhibit differences depending upon physical state. In the gaseous state the molecule is a trigonal bipyramid of C2v symmetry with two fluorine atoms axial. In the solid and liquid states association through fluorine bridges occurs.

Es wurde das IR- und RAMAN-Spektrum von PH2F3 aufgenommen. Zur sicheren Ausdeutung der Spektren, die deutlich Unterschiede in verschiedenen Aggregatzuständen aufweisen, wurden die Spektren von PF5, PF3Cl2 und PCl5 herangezogen. Im gasförmigen Zustand liegt eine trigonale Bipyramide der Symmetrie C2v vor, mit den beiden H-Atomen und einem Fluor in der Basis und den beiden anderen Fluor-Atomen in der Achse. Im festen und flüssigen Zustand liegt Assoziation mit Fluorbrücken vor.
