    Description / Table of Contents: Cu2O · Fe2O3 (CuFeO2) was prepared in alkaline medium from freshly precipitated iron(III) hydroxide and copper(I) oxide. This conversion succeeds through the solution. The influence of the concentration of NaOH and the reaction time was investigated. According to X-ray diagrams the product thus obtained is identical with the sinter product obtained from Cu2O and α-Fe2O3 and possesses a structure which is similar to those of α-NaFeO2 and AgFeO2.
    Notes: Aus frisch gefälltem Eisen(III)-hydroxid und Kupfer(I)-oxid wird in alkalischem Medium Cu2O · Fe2O3 (CuFeO2) dargestellt. Die Umsetzung erfolgt über die Lösung. Der Einfluß der NaOH-Konzentration und der Reaktionszeit wird näher untersucht. Das erhaltene Produkt ist nach Aussage der Debyeogramme mit dem Sinterprodukt aus Cu2O und α-Fe2O3 identisch und besitzt ein ähnliches Gitter wie α-NaFeO2 und AgFeO2.
