The reactions during the thermial treatment (200°C) of p-substituted diphenyl-silanediols are investigated. Besides the normal condensation of silanoles, a cleavage of Si—C bonds by means of silanolysis is found. The dependence of the partial reactions on the substituents of the organogroups is explored and interpreted by I- and M-effects.

Die Reaktionsvorgänge bei der thermischen Behandlung (200°C) von p-substituierten Diphenyl-silandiolen werden untersucht. Neben der normalen Silanol-Kondensation wird eine Si—C-Spaltung durch Silanolyse festgestellt. Die Abhängigkeit der Teilreaktionen von den Substituenten der Organo-Gruppen wird bestimmt und durch I- und M-Effekte gedeutet.
