    Description / Table of Contents: Diethyl Malonodiimidate in Pyrimidine SynthesisDiethyl malonodiimidate 4 and the aldehydes (2 undergo [5 + 1] condensation to give the 6-ethoxy-4-oxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydropyrimidines 5a-e. Condensation of the heterocumulenes 6 with 4 leads to the 4-amino-6-ethoxy-2-oxo(thioxo)-2,3-dihydroyrimidines 7a-d.
    Notes: Malondiimidsäure-diethylester (4) geht mit den Aldehyden 2 eine [5 + 1]-Kondensation zu den 6-Ethoxy-4-oxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydropyrimidinen 5a-e ein. Die Heterokumulene 6 kondensieren mit 4 zu den 4-Amino-6-ethoxy-2-oxo(thioxo)-2,3-dihydropyrimidinen 7a-d.
