Complex Eliminations and Solvolyses of N-Acyl-1,5-benzothiazepin-4-onesThe heterocyclic bisacylamines 2a-d are solvolyzed to give the 3-[2-(acyl)aminophenylthio]propionic acid derivatives 4, 5, and 6 or the heterocycle 1, which may be transformed into 5 by treating 1 with methanol and acids. The pyrolysis of 2 gives 1 by deacylation, the benzothiazoles 7 by [1,5,5′,(4)5] elimination and the heterostilbene 9 by [2,1,3] elimination. Solvent effects and reaction mechanisms are studied and discussed also in terms of suitable classifications.

Die heterocyclischen Bisacylamine 2a-d solvolysieren zu den 3-[2-(Acyl)aminophenylthio]propionsäure-Derivaten 4, 5 und 6 bzw. zum Heterocyclus 1, der mit Methanol und Säuren zu 5 umgesetzt werden kann. Die Pyrolyse von 2 ergibt neben Entacylierung zu 1 infolge [1,5,5′,(4)5]-Eliminierung die Benzothiazole 7 sowie durch [2,1,3]-Eliminierung das Heterostilben 9. Solvenseffekte und Mechanismen werden untersucht und klassifizierend diskutiert.
