Description: Author(s): Emil Zeuthen, Albert Schliesser, Jacob M. Taylor, and Anders S. Sørensen Electrooptomechanical hybrid systems are garnering interest as candidate quantum transducers, to link microwave and optical fields in a future quantum Internet, for example. Achieving quantum-level operation in such systems is a challenge, though. This work discusses equivalent circuits as a unifying framework for designing and analyzing such hybrid quantum transducers, while also including quantum noise in a straightforward manner. By providing a common diagrammatical language for the electronic, optical, and mechanical elements involved, this approach may facilitate a joint effort in electrical engineering and quantum optomechanics to realize hybrid quantum networks.
