Description: Immense progress has been made in our understanding of the composition of interstellar dust over the past 15 years. This progress is largely due to the synergism of improved telescopic observations (especially in the infrared), laboratory studies of dust analogs, and the study of the interstellar grains found in meteorites. This paper reviews our current understanding of the composition of interstellar dust in light of results obtained by these three disciplines.
