Notes: We have extended nonlinear mode coupling calculations of electron spin resonance (ESR) line shape parameters, previously applied to a metallic spin glass, to the insulating spin glass Eu0.4Sr0.6S for temperatures above the freezing transition. The spectrum due to short-range exchange interactions is broadened by magnetic dipole coupling. The decoupling approximations are similar to those of Levy, Morgan-Pond, and Raghavan [Phys. Rev. B 30, 2358 (1984)]. In contrast to the metallic glass we obtain agreement, without adjustable parameters, for the high-temperature limit of the linewidth seen for a 40% concentration of europium. For finite temperatures, with the density of states of the exchange interaction obtained numerically, the temperature dependent linewidth and line shift so obtained agree semiquantitatively with experiment.
